Bica do Sapato

A modern place with a very pleasant view and well-prepared dishes. The experience was great, especially at dinner.

The appetizers were excellent—the tartare and croquettes were a highlight. However, the experience was mixed; my steak was overcooked for my preference, and the Moscow Mule was poorly executed. While the service and view are great, the overall food and drink quality didn't quite justify the premium pricing. With more consistent execution in the kitchen and at the bar, this could be a top spot, but for now, the desserts and mains fall short.

Today I had lunch at Bica do Sapato and it was an excellent surprise. Executive menu with dessert, in a spacious setting, with a clean chic decor and impeccable and attentive service. The bread was crispy, the sea bass ceviche with mango was perfect, with the right acidity and lots of flavor, and the sea bream in the main course was super fresh. For the quality, atmosphere and service, the value for money is truly a find in Lisbon. It's well worth it.

A very modern restaurant; the entrance is rather difficult to find, but once inside, behind some thick curtains, it opens into a beautiful postmodern club-style restaurant with a conservatory and terrace. You either have a view of Lisbon Bay or a cruise ship, so it's always interesting 👍

An elegant restaurant located right on the waterfront with mesmerizing Tijo river views. There is even an outdoor terrace. A high-class service and reasonable prices for delicious meal. We had a wonderful evening and warmly recommend this place.

I went to Bica do Sapato for breakfast and, overall, the experience was very positive. The croque monsieur was the only slightly disappointing item: it came without béchamel sauce, which made it dry. However, the service was impeccable. The waiter confirmed with the kitchen that they didn't have the sauce, apologized, acknowledged the mistake, and offered the dish, suggesting alternatives. A professional and attentive attitude, which I greatly appreciate. I then ordered eggs Benedict, which were very good, although the bread was small for the amount of sauce and eggs. The croissants are excellent, but small. The Bica toast was very tasty and well-filled. However, it would be helpful to have a note on the menu indicating that it is an open toast, since "toast" usually suggests a closed and warm version. Overall, a very pleasant breakfast, with good quality and service that knows how to solve problems when they arise.
