The location is fantastic, right in the center, so you can relax when you're tired. The rooms are excellent; our room was on the city side and was very good. Cleaning was done every day. There's a shared terrace where you can spend time. The only problem was that all the hot items at breakfast were pork products, so we couldn't enjoy breakfast even though we had to pay for it.

Central location. 20 meters from Plaza Catalunya. Small rooms, but very clean. Comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff who are always interested in helping.

Perfect location. A few minutes walk from Plaça Catalunya.. Clean and functional rooms. Excellent service. Pleasant breakfast until 12. We really enjoyed the place!

A very nice hotel, nice and helpful staff, very beautifully decorated

The Room Mate Pau is the best hotel I've stayed at on my countless trips to Barcelona. The location is fantastic! Room 702, in particular, is an absolute highlight and worth every penny. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and high-quality selection, the entire hotel is modern and stylishly furnished, and the room service is excellent. I'd especially like to commend the uncomplicated and always-available reception; the team does a truly superb job, and you feel completely at ease. All in all, I would definitely return.

After initially not having a too ideal and noisy room; with especially poor bathroom ventilation; the Room Mate Pau team put a lot of effort to still make our stay pleasant. We got a new somewhat bigger room which was eventually very nice. I would refrain from the lowest category rooms; but the higher category rooms are actually pretty nice. Location is also very good!

An accommodation with an absolutely fantastic location. The subway station, airport bus stop, supermarket, department store, and more are all right in front of the accommodation. I stayed for 5 nights; the room condition and cleanliness were impeccable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was more than sufficient. Including the relatively affordable price range, I think it is one of the best options when staying in Barcelona. However, although the room is spacious, it would be nice to have one more luggage rack. Also, the door on the bathroom sink gets in the way a bit, so I wish it could be fixed so it stays in place.

We had an excellent stay at Room Mate Pau in Barcelona. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, making it very easy to enjoy the city. The real highlight of our stay was the service, especially from Sergei at reception. He was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and professional. He provided excellent service to us and, just as importantly, we noticed him giving the same thoughtful attention to other guests as well. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a big difference. Sergei went above and beyond, and his kindness and professionalism made our stay feel truly special. Room Mate Pau is already a great hotel, but staff like Sergei make it outstanding. Highly recommended — we would gladly return.

This hotel is highly recommended for a number of reasons, including its ideal location, very clean and functional rooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfast, and the exceptional friendliness of all the staff, whether at reception, breakfast, or in the rooms. We were delighted with our choice.

The rooms have a very bad view and an air gap. The reception is asking for money for a change. Booking.com was a failure with this hotel.
