Buddies

We heard that Buddies do a Sunday roast and were excited to try it out. We are both vegan and Buddies catered well for us. The nut roast was very tasty and the vegetables were great too although I would have probably preferred one more type of veg and maybe less or no mash potatoes but that's just my view. For my partner it was perfect as he loves potatoes. Apologies for the crap picture...we forgot to take proper pics of the food. But it'll give you an idea... As mentioned, very tasty and great service and fun atmosphere.

An absolute gem, their motto is hello stranger, goodbye friend. Absolutely a truer word has not been spoke. 3 visits to GC this year and this is my base of operations. Food is fantasic but the friendly staff make the place Osien, Gary, Kirsty, Peiter etc all make it an absolute Diamond of a place.

Great little bar tucked into a corner section of the Yumbo center.

It's a shame I'm left with such a bad impression of the place. The service was terrible; they didn't clean our table, they couldn't bring us the menu or even take our order. I had to go to the bar to order drinks myself, and when I asked for a glass for my drink, I was completely ignored. Very bad service.

Came for Sunday lunch and it was the best Sunday lunch I’ve had abroad. Staff are really friendly and very quick to assist. Highly recommend 5*

Best Sunday lunch since being here, fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, roast and mash potatoes, roast beef cooked to perfection and homemade gravy.
