Hässlö Hotell

Decent, clean budget hotel very handy for the airport Very basic room/bathroom but clean and beds comfortable. Excellent breakfast and coffee machine on tap 24 hours.

I booked a night here when I was flying out of the nearby airport in the morning and really enjoyed staying here. It was easily accessible by bus from downtown (I reached by train/bus from Uppsala), the room was small but fine, the shower was good, and the whole facility being converted from an Air Force building was very neat and interesting. The breakfast in the morning was very good, with kind staff, and I was able to walk to my flight afterwards, I would definitely stay here again.

A local family-owned hotel with competetive prices, free parking, gym, sauna. Hotell Hässlö is located 5 km from central Västerås and 2 km from Västerås airport. The hotel has 49 rooms and there are generous common areas with ping-pong room, billiards room, gym, sauna and a large TV / family room, which makes the hotel suitable for longer and short stays. All rooms have private tiled bathroom, TV and a desk. Nice clean room and ok breakfast. Self service when arriving and all in all worked well.

Not my sort of Place. Self-service do it yourself hotel with little or no service I was there for 3 days . no room service. Your entry . two sets of codes to get in. With a sticking inner door. Inner door you had to push and pull to get it to open. I was stuck outside for a while. Small room . The bathroom was ok. You can get much cheaper and better service and amenities in the same area. Finally when I was there it seemed to be full of a kids noisy foot ball team running around.

Wow. This place is by far the best I have stayed in in quite some time. Quiet place. Hidden gem. Super clean, lots of comfort. Building and amenities look and are new, and checkin is via a straightforward self-checkin system with codes through the week (check your booking for the initial entry number then your card is in the white cupboard inside, then enter 10+your room number on the card system and then hold your card (from the white cupboard) against the reader. Shower area is better then what it shows on most booking websites. There is gym, sauna, etc. All high quality and self arranged. Even a stereo to play your own music in the gym. Those are downstairs. Free coffee and chocolate hot drinks (downstairs meal area near entry door - see machine on attached photo). Great meal area. Lots of kitchen space to heat your own food. Surroundings so quiet and peaceful setting. Would stay here again without doubt, God willing. A+ all around.
