The Forbidden Fruit

We visited on a Monday evening, and it was quite quiet but that was actually very pleasant. Prices for drinks were reasonable, with two pints coming in at about £13; some lovely ciders on tap, and very welcoming bar staff. Easy to find parking outside, which was free after 6pm. Can't fault it.

13 of us attended batty bingo strippers! We had the most amazing time! We didn’t want it to finish! Such a laugh and the host was insane one of the best ones we’ve been to! Deffo recommend and can’t wait to do another one! Thankyou so much!!!

Great pub, lovely atmosphere. Such hard working staff. Alan and Sam deserve every support x Kareoke Fridays and entertainment Saturday. Batty Bingos are brilliant fun. And the roasts are the best in town.

Really good afternoon batty bingo and strippers

I have been to this bar on numerous occasions for various different events. The owners and staff are always very welcoming and everyone is welcome. On Saturday 14th March I attended Batty Bingo. I went with friends some had been before others not. Alan the host was excellent along with the staff. It was one of the best afternoons I have had great fun dancing and singing in between playing Bingo. Can’t wait for the next one. Thanks Alan & Sam and ALL the staff for a great place to visit in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are in and around the area you should definitely visit The Forbidden Fruit

I love this place so much! We had our Lesbi-hen do here and I’ve always loved the atmosphere, feeling completely comfortable and able to be who I am without prejudice . But the staff and the bar are really welcoming. If you’re looking for a colourful place to have a drink, maybe do a quiz, bit of Bingo too then Forbidden Fruit is definitely the place 💖

Absolutely amazing place! Whenever I go out I will never go anywhere else, the staff are fantastic, atmosphere is buzzing and every day they have something different going on! Karaoke on a Friday is a must amd the drags on the weekend are always fantastic!
