A Truly Exceptional Evening – Exceptional Food and Value! I recently attended the special Jo Malone evening at Barnacle on Wednesday, and it was absolutely flawless from start to finish. At £99 per ticket, the sheer quality of the food and the beautifully curated experience offered incredible value. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a drink, followed by olives and delicious homemade bread paired with an olive oil and balsamic dip. Every single course that followed was a triumph. The scallop starter was cooked to perfection, complemented by an absolutely superb sauce. For the main, we enjoyed a beautifully prepared cod dish served with roasted new potatoes and another truly fabulous sauce. We finished the culinary side of the night with a lovely, fresh dessert that perfectly rounded off the meal. Beyond the exceptional food, the experience itself was magical. We received a relaxing hand and arm massage from the Jo Malone representatives and a £25 voucher to spend that evening. We also got to visit a beautiful flower van, where a gorgeous hand-tied bouquet was included in our ticket price. A special mention must go to Harry Askew, who hosted and served us throughout the night. The service was excellent, attentive, and warm—we honestly couldn't fault a single thing. It was such a lovely, memorable evening. Barnacle truly outdid themselves, and I cannot recommend their special event evenings enough!
