It was one of those rare meals where every detail was on point, and it’s all down to how attentive the team is. The food was also absolutely ridiculous, the chicken was a real standout but you can’t miss the ribeye. Big shout out to Wilf for looking after all of us, can’t wait for the next visit🌞

I really loved the Pearl Barley with Mussels! 😘 The mussel sauce was delicious even when dipped in the soles of my shoes! The Hogget Lamb Platter was also amazing! 😎 The rump cut was grilled perfectly, with a crispy surface, but the belly cut was a bit oily and greasy. The roasted garlic served with it was a great accompaniment. The raw salmon steak was just okay, a bit ordinary. The salmon flavor seemed a little overwhelmed by the sauce. I really liked the smoky flavor of the roasted zucchini, but there were just too many raisins on the side—a huge clump of super sweet raisins, which was a bit of a shame. If the menu changes, I'd like to come back and try other dishes, but I hope the mussels won't be replaced! 🙏

Had a wonderful graduation dinner at Stow. Service is very friendly and efficient. Food was superb. Thank you to the team for letting us change our reservation and for being so kind and welcoming despite our late arrival due to crazy traffic.

Brilliant service!

Highly recommended. We were served by the wonderful Rosa - she made us feel immediately at home and gave us some fab recommendations. We sat at the Chef’s table and watching the kitchen dynamic (v vibey) was calming and reassuring. A cool, casual kitchen, with a fine dining twist. Can’t go wrong. Stow is one of those places that once you go, it affects every other fine dining experience you have. It's clear that making a lasting impact is one of the core values the owners set out. Every member of staff was a delight to speak to and went above and beyond to make every bite, sip, and interaction a pleasure. I want to personally shout out Ciara, who made my 25th birthday so special. Her list of recommendations guided our little tour of Manchester, and the lovely fridge magnet she gave us lives on the fridge of our new home. Her genuine and thoughtful nature, and great craic, made our already 10/10 experience an 11/10. Every dish (especially the white asparagus starter, hogget main, and smoked plum dessert) was INSANE! The drinks- cocktails or wine- were fresh and moreish. Not to mention the sexy apertivo given to us at the start. I love Stow; I will 100% be back there, and definitely be back in Manchester. Thank you Stow, and mostly, thank you, Ciara!

Really cute and modern atmosphere, without being too showy or pretentious. Staff were immediately friendly and helpful and were very accommodating and just right the level of chatty throughout - I couldn't fault the service one bit. The menu is small but has a great selection of dishes. For July's menu it was a lot of fish, if you were vegetarian you would struggle. The food came out in good and altogether. At first the portions seemed a little small but I was actually really full after. Between two of us we had two starter small plates, one main bigger dish, two sides and one dessert. That and three glasses of wine came to £140 (inclu tip). The food was delicious! Every plate was great and we really loved the onion flatbread, the cod and the cabbage. I would recommend to go, but not sure how often I would return as the menu doesn't change its top plates too much. Only improvement is that the chairs and bit rickety.
