Hotel Cavancha

Hello, I have a question: is it possible to go just for the day? And how much does it cost?

Good location, next to Cavancha beach and nightlife venues (pubs, restaurants, etc.). The reception and cleaning staff were very friendly. The breakfast selection wasn't very varied.

Excellent location, friendly service and a very good view

I stayed from November 27th to 30th. I only had hot water ONE day; the rest of the time there was either no hot water or no water at all. They moved me to two different rooms, both of which flooded! The breakfast buffet only had coffee, bread, butter, and a few pastries—incredibly meager for a supposed breakfast buffet. They refused to refund my money so I could move to another hotel. They kept giving excuses like "it'll be ready in 20 minutes," and I was stuck for three days without being able to change rooms. The hotel does NOT have beach access, which contradicts what they advertise on their website; you have to go all the way around to get to the beach. There's no pool either. The windows aren't soundproof, so you can't rest in the mornings when people arrive on the beach to play, as the noise and shouting reach the room. The bed, the pillows, and the cleaning staff are the best things about the hotel. The concierge was cold and unhelpful. Choose another hotel, this one doesn't live up to 3 stars

There is no water on the top floor and no Wi-Fi.

Although they have a thermos and a coffee machine, these are unusable, leaving no access to hot water at night. They told me the coffee machine wasn't being used because they didn't have cups, but on several occasions I saw staff using it with just the white cups provided for breakfast. If they were willing to address this issue, they could do the same for guests. The breakfast selection is somewhat lacking, and the rooms could be improved with minor details that don't cost much, such as a trash can, hangers, and an extra blanket or bedding stored in the closet for those who need it. I stayed for five days. On the third day, the towels hadn't been changed yet, so I left them on the bathroom floor (other hotels' instructions say to do this). When I checked out, they charged me for a towel (the price isn't important to me, but the reason is) because it was dirty from being left on the floor. I recommended that they clearly state their procedures because the rules and conditions aren't displayed anywhere, and the costs for damages are nowhere to be seen. They should also inform guests about these situations promptly, not just when they're leaving. I think the hotel has an excellent location but many details that need improvement; it even makes it seem somewhat neglected. The reception staff turnover seems high, and customer service isn't their strong suit. The only redeeming quality is the location, but it's worth noting that there are nearby establishments that, except on Sundays, play music until after 1:00 AM.

Somewhat dated rooms, but always excellent service and comfort. Highly recommended.

Outdated facilities, poor Wi-Fi, limited breakfast, and unfriendly staff. They used to have a small gym, but it's gone now. I once lost my wireless headphones from the room, and there's a risk of rodents and insects in the rooms on the ground floor, perhaps due to the proximity to the beach.
