The hotel overall is mid. Location wise is great. The room itself is quite small. During the night I can hear lots of noise from the hallway, people walking and it’s very loud. Another thing I been trying to resolve with the hotel is my security deposit. They charged me $250 on the day I arrive. I checked out on Oct 20,2025 and the guy at the desk told me it would be 2-3 days for the deposit to return to my credit card. It has been a month I been waiting for them to return my deposit to my credit card.

Good hotel, very welcoming staff, comfortable beds. The location is great, close to the city center, with a Bixi station on the street. A pool table is available. The only downside, unfortunately, is the poor soundproofing; you'll hear your neighbors playing pool at 6 a.m.

This hotel is scam. They charged me twice for one room and now they won't give the money back. Plz don't go to this hotel.

This place is a complete scam. A guy named Abdullah literally thugged me. I booked my room through Expedia, and when I arrived, he said “Expedia doesn’t charge any money” and made me pay again in person. Now I’ve been charged twice, and this guy refuses to answer my calls — I must’ve called him a thousand times. He kept lying and fooling me, pretending everything was fine, and now he’s just disappeared. This is straight-up fraud. I can’t believe this hotel is even allowed to operate under Expedia’s platform. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST.

We booked this hotel well in advance through Expedia (August 28) for a stay on October 3. When we arrived l late at night, tired and expecting a room we were told the hotel was overbooked and they had no room for us. No apology, no help, nothing. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and could barely communicate in either English or French. They made zero effort to fix the situation, and we were left scrambling to find another hotel at midnight, in a completely unfamiliar city. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

A lot better stay than anticipated from some of the reviews. I think we’ve discovered that the ground and upper level rooms are better up kept than the basement; So try and make sure you’re able to get one of them, our room specifically was 108 and it was perfectly fine! You can hear the hallway quite a lot if people are being disruptive, the windows also don’t provide much blockage from outside sound. The shower in our room had a proper tub bottom so there was no flooding the whole room, they could use longer curtains or a bath mat however as water did exit all over. We found the beds to be comfortable and our room was equipped with a Roku TV, air conditioning with a remote, small hair dryer and other basic things. There wasn’t hand soap for the sink so we had to use the shower gel, but oh well. The lobby is nice and clean equipped with a water dispenser and a coffee pod machine. The staff were kind in person and over the phone when we had called beforehand with worries about the room. Overall I say it’s a worthy budget friendly option especially if you’re going to MTelus !

Veey close to the old port. NO PARKING!!! every guest I spoke with said they were having hell finding parking. Ended up parking a few streets over in a lot that cost $35 per night. Room was ok could be cleaner. Had to knock on the glass to get let in for check in as the buzzer wasnt working

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very courteous, but the service is slow. The location is great and very close to the city center.

It was a horrible stay. When we first entered the room there was a horrible smell of cigarettes. The ac was on when we entered as I assume this was to try to refresh the room and remove the smell of cigarettes. For the price this is unacceptable. No room service, very few toiletries. It really feels like they want to save money by giving you only 1 shower gel and 1 toilet paper. The room needed refurbishment. It gives the impression that it’s a nice hotel when you enter and see reception. But it’s a total scam. You can feel that the owner cares about having his or her pocket full of cash by not caring about customers and having a pleasant stay. Therefore, avoid at all cost, this hotel doesn’t even worth 30$ a night. At least try to remove the disgusting smell of cigarettes in the room. Careless. The only good thing was the location. That’s all. Horrible.
