O que os avaliadores dizem

Visitors frequently praise the Arts Hotel for its convenient location and helpful staff, with many finding the beds comfortable and the rooms clean. However, a significant number of guests report extreme noise issues from an adjacent music venue, with some describing it as disruptive to sleep even with earplugs. Some reviewers also noted the rooms are very small and lack amenities like TVs or refrigerators.

Sobre este lugar The Arts Hotel

The Arts Hotel is a mainstream, gay-friendly hotel at 155 Kent Street in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. It is not a gay venue. The location is its strong point: the Confederation Centre of the Arts, Victoria Row restaurants and the waterfront are all walkable. Reviews are mixed, with 3.8 on Google from about 370 reviews, so read recent ones before booking. Charlottetown is small and summer is high season, when the Confederation Centre runs its theatre programme and rooms fill quickly. Check the hotel's website for room types and parking.

I stayed here for three nights on a study trip in a Queen room. The location is excellent—right downtown, with a Shoppers nearby and most attractions within easy walking distance. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked well and was easy to adjust. I also appreciated having enough hangers and plenty of towels and pillows. A few things to note: amenities are minimalist (no toothbrush/razor and no kettle). Sound insulation isn’t great—my room was next to the lounge, so I could hear noise when people came and went. The shower design can splash water outside the stall, and water pressure was on the weaker side. On the plus side, there’s a spacious guest lounge with sofas and two TVs, plus coin laundry and an ice machine. There’s also a paid coffee machine, and a microwave, air fryer, and toaster available for guests.

Very cozy! The only disclaimer is that the washroom sink had a mouldy stench and the shower didn’t have a door and the water kept splashing out when showering. This was an inconvenience because I had to always check my position in the shower to prevent too much water from getting on the floor. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable for 1 nights’ stay.

It was a bit complicated to make the reservation directly with the hotel but much simpler and cheaper through Expedia. The bedding was dirty but once advised, the staff changed it right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful except the first point of contact made directly, she was pushing the more expensive room to the point that she told me the rate I had was no longer available but I found it and rebooked via Expedia at a lower rate that she offered me. The bathroom was very clean. No hairdryer. The hotel is in the middle of downtown so close to everything and we loved that. We were there on the weekend, Saturday was noisy, because we were in the entertainment quarters but we were aware of that already. Sunday was very quiet. They have a lounge that’s very comfortable and has a TV . Rooms are very small made to sleep only. That didn’t bother us at all because we were touring PEI all our stay and rarely in the room. All in all it’s a good hotel to spend couple of days and do recommend just be aware of the services ( all mentioned on their site) and location not to be surprised once on site.
