Kelowna Pride

Kelowna Pride (Kelowna Pride Society) is the non-profit that organises the city's annual Pride celebration and provides year-round LGBTQ+ community programming across the Central Okanagan. Its flagship event, Kelowna Pride Week, runs across late May and early June and culminates in the Kelowna Pride March and Festival at downtown's City Park. The organisation traces its roots to the city's first Pride march in 1996 and also supports LGBTQ+ youth and trans peer-support initiatives. It is the primary point of contact for queer community life in Kelowna.
