Kay Trans Haiti

Kay Trans Haiti is a shelter and support organisation for transgender people in Port-au-Prince. It was founded by Yaisah Val, a prominent trans activist in Haiti. It provides housing and community support to people who often have nowhere else to go. Given Haiti's ongoing security crisis, it's one of very few such spaces still operating. It isn't a place for visitors, and no address is published. Most countries advise against travel to Port-au-Prince. If you want to help, donate or offer support through international LGBTQ+ and trans-rights networks rather than turning up in person.
