My husband and I stayed here after a long day of multiple-family Thanksgiving hopping. We were blown away! The B&B was located somewhat in town, but it was tucked away in this cute, wooded neighborhood that was pin-drop silent. The owner was incredibly friendly and offered us a drink when we arrived! Our room was the Bella suite, which I highly recommend. It had a gorgeous stone fireplace, surround sound calming music, a killer jacuzzi tub, AND the most comfortable bed ever. But wait! There’s more. Free popcorn, candy snacks, Keurig coffee makers (in room and lobby), candles, and bubble bath! We haven’t felt that pampered in a long time. It doesn’t even stop there! We then had breakfast, which was delivered right to our room. The food was aaaaamazing. She made this baked French toast dish that had us both drooling! She even included meatless patties for me since I’m a vegetarian. We wanted to devour everything on the tray, but we were so full! We’ve decided to make this place a yearly tradition for us. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. If you need a retreat, this is IT!

This was the perfect spot for our girls' weekend to visit a couple of the art galleries in the Appleton/Menasha area. We rented the whole place, so we were able to cook for ourselves throughout the weekend. As such I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast that DeAnn generally prepares, but I can say that DeAnn and Austin took great care of us, including shoveling us out from a 12" snowstorm that hit the area the last night of our trip! The inn is really nicely appointed. Huge bedrooms, each with their own gas fireplace and en suite bathroom with a giant Jacuzzi tub (which we didn't use). Very comfy beds and good lighting. Also a microwave in each bedroom which we didn't use since we had full access to the kitchen. Plenty of parking. All in all, this is a really nice alternative for a group that prefers to have space to hang out together rather than being cramped in separate hotel rooms. Thank you DeAnn and Austin for a really nice getaway!

Great experience, It was unexpected the roost was as in downtown as it was but Deann did a great job, we got the morning breakfast which was awesome, they really did a great job with the small details, everything from extra toothbrushes available to having a glass of wine when we arrived. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone on the fence!

We stayed at The Roost for a Monday night Packer game. The owner, De Ann, was so nice and texted to confirm an ETA the day before and the day of. She showed us around and took us to our room. We were blown away from entering the home. We stayed in The Meadow and it was so cozy! The fire place was perfect. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get up the next morning. The next morning for breakfast we met the other guests in the dining room for breakfast. There were sticky notes at our spots along with a cup of fruite and whatever beverage you picked for your beverage. The food was amazing! Eggs and sausage and a French toast back which was to die for! We are already planning to come back for a longer stay and can't wait.

We booked a reservation on 9/4/22 for 9/11/22, but had to cancel it due to a change in agenda the following day, 9/5/22. My husband called and spoke with someone who said that because we had booked and canceled within the 14 day window the cost would be refunded, less $35. Two months later, 4 emails later, and two phone calls later nothing has been done to refund the unused room. The on-site person with whom I spoke to today was curt and unhelpful and ended the call without even saying good-bye. In today's world of online reviews, I would hope that their customer service would at least be courteous and respectful. I'm sure their establishment is wonderful, but I would avoid any place where I'm treated so poorly.

Spent one night in the Bella king suite and was blown away by how gorgeous the room was. Breakfast was fantastic and the owner was friendly and sweet and a pleasure to deal with. We came into town for a football game and she sent extremely clear, detailed instructions for check-in after hours. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

From the jacuzzi tub to the four poster bed the Tapestry Room was exactly what I needed for my weekend away. The inn owner, Deanna, went above and beyond with delicious breakfast both days as well as snacks in the shared area. I also got a bag of fresh veggies to take home!! Definitely exceeded my expectations.
