Hampton Inn & Suites - Cape Coral/Fort Myers Area, FL

Im a local resident in Cape Coral but I accompanied my sister who was a guest at Hampton Inn ( by Hilton), Cape Coral. We had quite a pleasant stay. The staff ( front desk, housekeeping and kitchen) were very friendly and accommodating. Special mention goes to Hilda ,( I think a manager), for truly going out of her way to accommodate a request - even 2 weeks after our stay. The room was spacious, beds comfy, bathroom was.always clean and thankfully still had the convenient amenities of a fridge, microwave, coffee maker iron, hairdryer - which I find lacking in some smaller hotels nowadays The outdoor pool was small but had enough room and depht for a short swim lap and sun bathing. Breakfast was was the usual buffet american bacon, eggs, waffle, oatmeal and cereal fare, coffee and juice included. I loved that they offer almost 24 hour coffee in the lobby and refreshing juice by the front desk too

True story. I stayed here and found genitalia stains on the mattress. When I asked the front desk to come to the room and explain how they could rent a room like that, they replied, they could not help me because I was a man and the supervisor was a woman. When told that wasn't an acceptable answer, they had me trespassed from the property. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Kathy a lovely lady that cooks the breakfasts and makes the best hotel breakfast you can have. Her sausage gravy and biscuits should be sold in a high-end restaurant not giving away at the Hampton Inn. Great place!!!

We return every year for our stay in Cape Coral because of the cleanliness and the amazing complementary breakfast choices and the super clean area of the breakfast by the beautiful smiling friendly kind Kathy. She is a big part of our return stay coming from New Jersey …Theresa Dey

In a nice area. Walking distance to what is their downtown. Clean hotel with friendly staff. 2025 update: place is still nice. The pool was cold. 2026 update: Room had at least 30 termites trying to leave for their nuptial flight. Very noisy room on street side.

I would give this place zero stars. We came in at 11 pm last weekend. Got our room keys and headed to our room. My 11 year old son went in first to find the tv on and a person asleep in one of the beds. how does that even happen. The person didn’t even wake up and realize strangers were in their room. The desk agents response….a giggle and “no one likes unexpected roommates”. Never again. Dangerous and irresponsible!!!

It was very much like most Hampton Inns. It was a bit noisy but I don't think there's anything that can do about that. I personally probably will not stay here again because of the noise. Otherwise they were friendly, it smelled really clean and the rooms were exactly what you would expect, nice-sized.

Last stay at Hampton Inn was April 30th, I found it to be in a great area located mins from downtown, very clean and decent breakfast. Pool was heated however my morning dip the water was quite chilly, after a full day we decided to have a later afternoon swim and could then feel the heated water so im assuming it takes a little time to circulated the heat. One thing I would say is to beware on night shift from desk, I purchase two items totally $6 and had to put it on debit card with no receipt issued, in the morning I had a alert that $22 was charged when I went to the front desk in the morning they basically said sorry for your luck nothing they could do, I asked for a manager to call me with no luck.

Worst service I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I made a booking here, Then tried calling for 3 days to get my reservation cancelled, the phone wouldn’t even ring. Then finally when it came check in day I was able to message them in the message app and after hour’s they told me they would cancel with a refund, and never did. After hours of messaging until I fell asleep at 11:30 I never got a response. I even sent an email to the hotel email and never got a response. Then when I woke up I had an email at 3 in the morning that my reservation had been canceled. They tried to charge my card but I locked it so it would not go through since they told me it would be refunded to me. And when I was finally able to call the phone the next day they told me that everything was down and the front desk agent does not have access to the hotel email, and I am a sales coordinator at a hotel myself and I know for a fact that they do. And if that was the case why did someone respond saying they would cancel? It should not be this difficult to try to get in contact with someone from the hotel and hopefully it is not like this for everybody. But I will not book here again.

Do not stay here. 2 friends stayed there and had to go to the med clinic because of mold issues. Breaking out and having breathing problems. This went away when they were out and the 2nd day was even worse required a med visit. Many phone calls to mgmt with zero response. The staff smsaid the new mgmt refuses to do anything.

We have stayed here several times and have always had a positive experience. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. We had a reservation issue that the General Manager, Jose, was able to help resolve with grace. He was professional and attentive. We highly recommend this hotel!
