Waiting to Exhale in Concert celebrates the music, friendship and emotion of the landmark film through an evening of unforgettable songs performed live by an all-star lineup of vocalists, backed by a full band.
Featuring music from one of the most celebrated soundtracks of the 1990s, the concert includes songs made famous by Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans, SWV and more, including favorites such as “Exhale (Shoop Shoop),” “Sittin’ Up In My Room,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” “Let It Flow,” and “Count On Me.”
30 years after its release, Waiting to Exhale remains a cultural touchstone, and its soundtrack continues to resonate across generations. This special concert event brings that music back tothe stage for a night celebrating love, heartbreak, friendship, resilience and the songs that defined an era.
