Motel 6 Eau Claire, WI

Motel 6 is a wonderful motel, the remodel is fantastic, they are reasonable for price, they are flexible and the staff is helpful and friend. The rooms are nice, the service is good and the location is good as well. I recommend Motel 6 and I enjoy staying here

Stayed here recently for close to 2 weeks. If you want service for room, you have to ask. My friend has been there 3 weeks not so much as a knock to change sheets or anything. Not to mention, there's a 50 deposit which is t bad except a soda got spilled and used a towel to clean it up. They kept half my deposit. Are you kidding me? There is a rat problem, they come out of sewer at night and into the garbage, which doesn't get taken care of every night . I stayed in 112 and had ants I tried to get rid of which he claimed he had someone spray my room which was a lie because I was there all day that day. Do not waste your hard earned money! The Internet is open network, and the cable consistently is spotty so it freezes constantly throughout the day and night especially if there is wind or rain.. why pay so much for hotel if you can't even use what you pay for. He argued with me I was lucky to get half my deposit, there was also moldy mildew on our shower curtain which I cleaned myself. I've had significant issues w my health from other mold situations. So it tells me shower curtains are also not cleaned or changed between visitors! He said stop back later today I might give rest of your deposit back. Ya right. I would have called police however, I had something pressing to take care of. It's sad because I thought this place was decent at first. How wrong can you be! If you spill something do you not grab the first thing handy to clean it up right away? I will never stay here again.. I would sleep in my vehicle at least I won't have to worry about rats or ants.

The best cheap motel in Eau Claire. Clean and comfortable rooms, good location, mostly quiet, and good service. I've stayed her about half a dozen times during trips and am always happy with my stay.

I booked a room for one night, and discovered, at check in, that the room key machine broke down. I couldn't lock my door, if I went anywhere. Food had been left in the microwave and fridge. Room was not very clean and not remodeled. This motel used to be run a little better. The hallway stunk and trash cans outside, we're overflowing. I saw rodents running on side of building. The health department should be called actually. I won't stay there again. Terrible, terrible.

I know the deals you may find might make it seem like a good deal but save your money. The guy at the front desk tried to scam us out of another nights fee even though we had confirmation we had already paid. Then the true horror hit. The room we had smelled of pet urine so bad, but that wasn't as bad as finding cockroaches. We had stayed in this motel 2 years prior and it was super clean and nice. Clearly they have new owners and the standards have dropped immensely. So disgusting. I really hope the health board goes in for an inspection.
