Fairbanks Queer Collective

Fairbanks Queer Collective (FQC) is the main LGBTQ+ community organization in Interior Alaska. Run by local volunteers, it organizes Fairbanks PrideFest each summer and hosts year-round social gatherings, mutual-aid efforts and community events that bring together queer residents from across the Fairbanks area. In a city with no dedicated gay bars, FQC functions as the connective tissue of the local scene—a first point of contact for LGBTQ+ newcomers, University of Alaska Fairbanks students, and travelers wanting to plug into the community.
