Dan Jerusalem Hotel

We were at the hotel on Friday and Saturday. We were impressed and amazed by the hotel lobby, but we quickly realized that we had arrived at a hotel that would leave us with an unpleasant experience. There is so much to note that was not right/proper in this hotel in relation to the value and in general in general. Employees - When we first entered the hotel, we heard arguments with the employees and when we received the rooms, we slowly began to understand why. "Our friends" were simply impatient, with no intention of helping or providing minimal service, it seemed as if they were coordinating among themselves not to help or to respond in a bad way. Hotel services - pools, jacuzzi and hammam in my humble opinion were not at all suitable for the number of people in the hotel. They were simply packed, not to mention the music that people brought with them there. Dining room - It was full of food and most of it was just plain and even what looked good to most people was not wow at all. I will summarize with the sentence "There is everything but nothing" Rooms - I found out at the reception that there is no refrigerator, there is a temperature monitor. One of the rooms had a problem and the door would not open, a problem that recurred several times and only on Shabbat itself was the problem resolved. The rooms were very spacious and clean and this was the nicest part of the hotel. Synagogue - They decided to close the synagogue on the 4th floor and open a large one on the lobby floor for all hotel guests (lots of guests) without considering the Sephardi/Ashkenazi minyanim. When one of the managers realized that the workers had opened the synagogue on the 4th floor, he came and said on Friday evening after the prayer to the worshippers that the synagogue would be closed tomorrow and that we should go upstairs. We tried to explain to him that we were from a different minyanim, of course he was not interested, and then he started talking impatiently and in an unpleasant way. Fortunately for us, he went to sleep and the workers opened the synagogue. In conclusion, I would not return to this hotel

Excellent hotel, good service, good people, room manager, food, Abu Atar, good people!!! The rooms are large and spacious, very clean Good food!
