Stayed here for a night while attending an LA conference. Would recommend if you dont mind it being more of a hostel style booking.

I stayed at the Los Feliz PosShare and thought it was a great spot. Pods were clean and comfy. Quiet at night. The host was super sweet. Easy location within walking distance to bars in Silverlake, VONS supermarket, or Home State Tacos.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff (Aysia) was helpful and a kind person. The overall vibe, generally, is similar to a quiet independent small hostel you might stay at while traveling abroad. Co-ed and the community there felt safe/trustworthy generally; I had no concerns leaving my valuables in my bunk while out on the town. A couple notes that others may find helpful, comparing to what you'd typically expect from hostels, if you're considering staying here: - The main thing executed far better than other hostels is the construction of your personal bed area. The way they did it as a wooden cubby is better and more sturdy than a bunk bed, so it feels more like a mini nook attached to a community space. You can store your things up there too, and something about it being sturdy & wooden -- instead of a rickety metal frame -- psychologically helps give the feeling of a secure personal space to be at ease in, instead of an impersonal barracks-style bunk you'd temporarily try to just (maybe) sleep in. - The community area itself feels more homey than most. It's a thoughtfully laid-out & designed physical space, if you care about spending a bit of downtime chilling there beyond just sleeping. - There's a quiet & lights-out policy at night, so if you're a light sleeper you can sleep through the night without drunk folks getting home at 2am and stumbling around loudly with their smartphone flashlights on, which is appreciated. - There aren't bed curtains; in the design they are going for a more open social atmosphere. Prior to arriving I was skeptical of this choice, but quickly got used to it -- and it does help foster a more positive less closed off vibe, so I was convinced. As an introvert, it wasn't an issue. - That said, if you're someone who wants more privacy, the upper-bunks feel less exposed than the lower ones due to being higher up. - They have free vegetables in the kitchen which is nice to supplement a travel-diet with. They also provided a travel bottle of shampoo/conditioner/lotion. - I'd suggest checking in around the time of the change in day (here that was early-afternoon) if possible with your travel plans, as it would be easiest logistically if you have any questions for the onsite staff.

Absolutely a great stay. Low cost. Very clean. Strong service. Close to public transportation. Exactly what I hoped my stay would be.

Uncomfortable bed, no privacy

It's like a commune, or a prison. If you cover up, they'll take it off because they want to see you. It's filthy and disgusting. Don't come here!!!

Great stay!

I visit LA often, but I can't believe I'm only finding such a great place now. I used to stay at a Downtown hotel, but it felt too dangerous, so I moved to Century City. However, getting around was difficult and the price was too high, which was a burden. I booked this place with some apprehension, but personally, I found it even more comfortable than a hotel. What I liked was: 1. The space design 🤍 2. My favorite Courage Bales is just a 10-minute walk away, and Erewhon and Silverlake are a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction. 3. The streets are safe and clean. Anyway, I had a wonderful stay ☺️
