Sobre este lugar Flamingo Park (cruising)

Flamingo Park is a large public park in South Beach, Miami Beach, at Meridian Avenue and 11th–15th Streets. By day it's a busy sports and recreation park with courts, a pool and a running track. After dark, some of its quieter corners have a long-standing reputation as a gay cruising spot. It isn't an organised venue. The park is public and patrolled, and sex in public is illegal in Florida, so anything beyond meeting someone is at your own risk. Stay discreet, keep valuables to a minimum and be aware of your surroundings. South Beach's gay bars and the 12th Street beach are a few blocks east.

Beautiful and peaceful park. THERE ARE NO FLAMINGOS in this park. TripAdvisor picture is a trap. It is a picture from another place

This place is amazing. My daughter plays netball in the UK and we have to practice everyday. There is always a court free and people are so friendly. Honestly Miami you are so lucky to have this amazing facility on your doorstep

I used this park several times over the years when I visit Miami. Both of my kids are advanced players and I would always able to find high level players to practice with them - even if I had to pay them a few dollars. I just found out that they are now prohibiting this practice and everyone MUST book their practice players through the park and only use the instructors at the park - who are apparently not great. This forces you not only to use the park's instructors but also to pay for a lesson when all you really need is someone to hit with, without any instruction. Horrible policy, especially for visitors or tourists to the area.

The staff and facilities are amazing. Cathy at the front office of the pool was so helpful. She gave us a rain check as there were storms coming. She called us to let us know we could come back.

Big hotel with all the facilities needed to enjoy with the family. The water park is amazing, the kids loved it! Rooms are spacious and well designed, a little bit outdated (I think they have renovated some). The staff was very nice and helpful

I found great peace and tranquility and great pickup basketball in Flamingo Park...there is plenty to do, from basketball, to exercise machines, to tennis, swimming and just plain ol' hanging out on a park bench in the shade....great park and great location!

Its really out in the open, the park is doing a great job with Covid 19. Great facilities, lot to see and do for the whole family.

While on vacation we walked every day on the beach, but when it got a little chilly we were looking for somewhere a little different, so we walked to this great little park. We walked all the little trails and around the outside, it really isn't a walking park. But they have a lot for the community: Tennis, Swimming, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Soccer, more. It's a great meet-up and you can see it is well maintained and looks like they are still doing more work.

For the “poop” bombs. The city did an excellent job of redesigning the park but lousy job in enforcing “curb your dog”...in other words...”pick up after your dog S..TS! Otherwise go and enjoy...but bring your “poop detector”

Miami Beach's workhorse park — tennis center, pool, fields, dog park, playground. Locals live here; tourists mostly miss it. Book courts ahead if tennis is the goal. Weekend mornings are peak chaos in a friendly way.

It's a very peaceful place to sit and take a break from the atmosphere of Ocean Drive, just by looking at the trees on Meridian Ave.
