Do yourself a favor and stay at the JW Marriott. I stayed here for one night and my room totaled around $220. Valet is another $60 per night, not including food or anything else. I was hesitant to book because I normally stay at the JW Marriott, but Arlo was closer to the clubs we were going to in Wynwood, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I really wish I had just stayed at the JW. When I got into the room, it had a somewhat dingy smell. I happened to look up at the ceiling and noticed that the air filters/vents were completely covered in dark gray buildup, which was pretty concerning. Then there was the bathroom. The shower handle literally spun 360 degrees and I could not properly control the temperature. I ended up taking an extremely quick, boiling-hot shower with the shower door open because I couldn’t get the water cold enough and was overheating. The sink was also clogged and drained extremely slowly. Then I noticed stains on the comforter. Thankfully, I had brought my own blanket with me just in case. The hotel is noisy, but I’m actually not holding that against them. It’s Wynwood. There are clubs nearby, and the hotel provides earplugs, so that’s understandable. What I don’t understand is the pricing compared with the actual quality. I went to the restaurant for breakfast and paid $15 for a bagel with butter. I genuinely expected some incredible, freshly made bagel for that price. Nope. If I had to guess, it was the equivalent of a basic grocery-store bagel that probably costs less than a dollar. That’s ultimately my issue with this hotel: the pricing seems completely disconnected from the quality you’re receiving. By the time you’re paying roughly $220 for the room, $60 for valet, inflated food prices, etc., you might as well stay somewhere like the JW Marriott. I’ve stayed there multiple times without these kinds of issues, the rooms have been beautiful, and the overall experience actually feels consistent with what you’re paying. Arlo has a great location if Wynwood nightlife is your priority, but based on my experience, I would not stay here again. For roughly the same overall spend, I’d choose the JW Marriott without hesitation.

OMG i had the best time here i stayed fivedays and had the best time of my life the staff is s friendly and nice but mostly robin rodriguz is one of a kind he is so good at his job he made my stay feel like home and safe he is a person u can go to anytime u need anything am happy i was able to get his service good job robin keep it up

Arlo Wynwood has a great location and a fun, modern atmosphere. The hotel looks impressive when you first arrive, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. However, for the price, I expected a higher level of overall quality. Some aspects of the property and room felt more average than what I would expect from a hotel at this price point. The experience wasn’t bad, but it also didn’t feel like the quality matched the image and pricing of the hotel. I enjoyed the location and the overall vibe, but there are definitely areas where Arlo could improve. Three stars overall — a good concept and great location, but the quality needs to catch up with the price.

Have stayed here multiple times. Got the PH this time and it was nice and spacious but had a serious mold problem. Could not have stayed more than 2 nights.
