A women- and trans-centred theatre collective running since 1980 on East 4th Street's theatre row — the room that launched Split Britches and the Five Lesbian Brothers. WOW still works as a true collective: shows, open mics and workshops are staged by members, entry is cheap, and the vibe is community rather than commercial. Ring buzzer 6 and walk up.
