OutRight Action International

OutRight International (formerly OutRight Action International) is a nonprofit working for the human rights of LGBTIQ people worldwide. It documents abuses, supports activists in hostile countries and advocates at the United Nations, where it holds consultative status. It is headquartered in New York, with staff in other regions. The Maiden Lane address in Lower Manhattan's Financial District is an office, not a public space, so contact them before visiting. For most people, the website is the way in, with reports, events and ways to donate. The organisation also hosts an annual gala and public talks in New York.
