Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston - Northwoods by IHG

Our family had a great stay here! Staff were so friendly and helpful. We requested a crib and it was ready for us for our stay. Great breakfast included as well. Not my favorite area, mainly for traffic around the mall and shopping plazas can make it hard to get in/out of the hotel parking lot. Overall very happy with our choice for our stay in Charleston!

I live by Columbia and work in Charleston 4 days a week. I have been staying at this hotel for 2 years almost one night a week. By far the best hotel. I love the staff! Most have been here for years! Rooms are clean. I always feel safe! I have never had an issue !

Excellent place to stay. The rooms were clean. And the staff was great. My only concern is when you exit the hotel it's kinda in a curve road.

We will be staying a total of 4 nights throughout our 10 day visit to S Carolina and Georgia. It's very convenient to and from the airport and easy to get to all the different locations we visited while exploring the surrounding areas. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The staff is friendly, helpful and present. The morning breakfast is always a nice perk, too.

This hotel was the worst thing I've ever paid for. I had a family health emergency and stayed here for two nights. I arrived yesterday and left the same day, and they wouldn't even refund me for one night. They don't understand when you have a problem. They're awful. A woman named Johana spoke with the manager, and he told her he couldn't do anything. They're the worst. I usually stay at these hotel chains, but what a disappointment that they couldn't help me. I'll never stay at these hotels again.

Perfect if you're just looking for a clean safe place to sleep. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. My room was also clean. (Big gamble in today's environment) My only complaint is the amenities. No coffee, no tea and no bottled water is offered in the room. You have to go find the coffee and the tea. They offer free breakfast... You won't find free water. The pool is tiny! There was already a family of three in it and I had no where to swim. It was awkward as we stared at each other with no place to go. There isn't a way to easily connect your streaming service. We were stuck watching a movie on a computer screen. The bed was a huge king and just perfect to share without knowing the other person was there.
