Wangshi China Palace Bed & Breakfast

We stayed last night. 6/12 for anniversary. Overpriced. Very over priced. property is beaitful but lobby is cluttered and had toilet Paper and junk every where. Random display case with randomThings for sale but no water? Lots of stains on the carpet. Carpet pulling up in many locations. No water or anything to drink in the room And nowhere to purchase any. No snacks or champagne as advertised. No stir sticks for coffee or creamer in room. Pool is not heated as advertised. Bed is super comfy.loved fhe pillows. Patio swing was beautiful and romantic at nights. so were the views - we even saw deer. Fire pit was out of propane. No front desk to call. mirrors in bathrooms had cracks. No handsoap. Breakfast was good but minimal selection considering the cost. Language barrier but super sweet owner. Great breakfast patio. Overall not super impressed but don regret the stay. Price should be knocked down a third based on quality of amenities. Would not stay again but cute little spot and could be amazing with minor changes. Owner comment about updates and repairs since our stay is bogus since they posted the same day we left, which makes me change my rating to two stars

What a great hidden gem! Small, quiet, and nicely appointed. Staff members were extremely attentive and helpful. Very nice change of pace!

This was such a great find in OKC. The decor and whole vibe hits you as soon as you drive up. The host greets you and truly makes you feel welcome. Heck, the entire staff is great and welcoming, and trust me you will LOVE the breakfast hint… get the waffles:). Rooms, pool, hot tub and game room are all clean and well maintained. This was such a good time and I will be back. If you want a great getaway THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!

As a previous b&b owner myself, this place was an amazing experience of its own. I booked as a weekend get away for my daughter and I and it was perfect! Wish we could've stayed longer. The breakfast was great as well! 10 for 10 recommend!

The staff is very friendly, the food was delicious, and I found the rooms to be pleasant; everything was very beautiful and clean. However, my experience was also uncomfortable because I observed the owner of the establishment severely scolding the employees. I believe that workers deserve to be treated with respect. I also left a tip in one of the rooms; I told the staff that I had left a tip there. When I returned to stay again, I asked all of them if they had received the tip I left in the room the other day, and they replied that there had been no money in the room. I consider this a gross lack of respect, as they were friendly—I wanted to brighten their day—and I also saw that they put a great deal of effort into their work.

Very nice place. The service is amazing especially the girl at the breakfast buffet.

I wish I could give it 5 stars. The husband and wife that own and run the place are super sweet and we enjoyed our interactions with them. The b & b itself, while definitely in need of some updates (starting with the carpet in the entryway, which gives a poor first impression), is so unique. The amount of thought and care that obviously went into designing everything is amazing. The rooms themselves were acceptable and clean, including the bathrooms. The air conditioner wasn't working in our kids room, though. By the time we realized that, it was too late in the evening to do anything about it, so they just cracked the door on their balcony and made it work. The property is beautiful and the location is great; it feels like you're further out of town than you actually are. Am I glad we went? Yes. Would we go back. Probably not. I think if you go in with proper expectations, you'll probably enjoy your stay.
