⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Elevated Italian Dining. Well-above the standard “pasta joint”. Osteria Ester describes itself as "a love letter to Italian-American dining." After a table of five worked through nearly the entire menu (cocktails included), we can confirm: the feeling is mutual. THE VIBE: Elegant, cozy, and warmly lit on the inside without feeling stiff. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a lively group dinner with friends catching up. They also have an outdoor patio if you prefer al fresco dining. Reserve ahead, especially for groups. THE STARTERS: Portioned for 2-4 people. Absolutely worth trying. House Focaccia: Fluffy, fragrant with rosemary, hearth-baked, and served with olive oil. The kind of bread that makes you ration it carefully so it lasts the whole meal. Truffle Arancini: Perfect texture (not mushy), with truffle flavor that's confident without being overbearing. My new benchmark for arancini. Burrata: Carefully composed and ultra-creamy, balanced by cherry and heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil, balsamic, and fresh cherries that added an unexpected, brilliant burst of sweetness. It sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it absolutely does. Wagyu Carpaccio: Thin, buttery, and beautifully presented. THE PASTA: Between the five of us, we covered serious ground across their pasta menu. The Lasagna Rotolo is their signature, and you'll understand why the moment it arrives. The rolls stand upright, slightly charred on top, and the presentation alone stops conversation. The Braised Beef Tortelloni was hearty and deeply flavorful. Bucatini Diavolo & Gnocchi Sardo: Both packed distinct textures and dialed-in sauces that proved this kitchen knows its craft. THE SERVICE: Our waitress was as much a highlight of the evening as the food itself. Patient with us through travel delays, full of genuine recommendations, and with a personality that made the whole table feel taken care of. I wish I'd written down her name. OVERALL: A solid 5/5. Osteria Ester strikes that rare balance between polished hospitality and deeply comforting, scratch-made food. One of the best Italian meals I've had in Florida. Go hungry, go with people you like, and let the server guide you. And make a reservation in advance - it’s well worth planning around.
This place is amazing. From the service to the appetizer to the main course a sensation of flavors that truly delight your senses. In addition, amazing gluten free menu. Well done.
Beautiful Italian restaurant, but still not the best in Orlando. Surprisingly, our favorite dish was the Hearth Roasted Half Chicken rather than any of the pastas. The homemade meatballs were also very good. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable for the location. I'd come back just for the chicken. Definitely recommend reservations.
This place is always empty and when you get there they always say that they are fully booked.
The staff were very kind, but the food didn’t blow me away. It wasn’t bad, just “okay”.
Best experience. Everyone was phenomenal and super knowledgeable about the food/drinks served. Food was top notch, very authentic. Big props to Jana, Sam, and Amanda
