What a lovely hotel. The room was charming, the staff were so warm and helpful. The beach was close and the view amazing. I go to Half Moon Bay often and will absolutely stay here again.

A lovely place to stay. A nice short walk to the seaside park, or to Moss Beach Distillery Restaurant. Quail and bunnies cavort in the garden for your amusement while you enjoy the very nice bountiful semi-custom breakfast options.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Seal Cove Inn has an incredible atmosphere. Quiet, cozy, peaceful, and made with real attention to detail. You can feel that the owners actually care about the guest experience instead of just collecting money from tourists. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the beds are excellent, and the fireplace adds a perfect touch in the evening. The breakfast was genuinely great, and the self-serve espresso bar was a very nice surprise. The location is amazing. Direct access to the coastal trails and the marine reserve makes this place feel isolated and relaxing while still being close to San Francisco. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. This place feels more like a peaceful European coastal inn than a typical California hotel. Highly recommended if you want a quiet romantic getaway or simply a place to slow down and breathe.

The Cove was clean, spotless, the staff were friendly, hospitable and professional. I would highly recommend this place to everyone The food was fresh, fruits everything was AWESOME

True hidden gem. Stunning coastal views, beautiful gardens filled with bunnies and quails, and the peaceful sounds of nature everywhere — it truly feels like heaven. Spacious, spotless rooms and breakfast delivered right to your room made the stay even more special.
