Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel

Avoid. Terrible service. Obvious that the hotel and restaurants are managed without guests in mind. I could give a ton of details but I'm exhausted from waiting for over an hour to find there's no food for guests and absolutely no apologies about it. Want food, all you get is pizza if you fight everyone for service for an hour. One of the worst 4 star hotels I've ever encountered in terms of service

Everything was nice but definitely do not use the valet service they overcharged me not once but twice I stayed there one day One charge was $38.94 for valet and then they turned around and charged me again for $69.04 and the person that I stayed with their valet was $33.68. I called the hotel and talked to the front desk they put me on hold so they can talk to the valet manager and then came back and said that they would call back later and I haven't received a phone call and it's been over 3 hours. I only parked one car for one night and getting charged for parking three cars obviously and then when I called midday they had no solution and did not give me a call back very poor never use their valet service the people were nice until it came to charging me

The condition of this hotel room is completely unacceptable - especially for what guests should reasonably expect from a professional hospitality brand. The attached photos show multiple visible cleanliness and maintenance issues throughout the room and bathroom area, including: 1. Numerous dark stains and splatter marks underneath the furniture and along the carpet 2. Visible buildup of dust, debris, hair, and grime along baseboards, corners, and furniture edges 3. Hair and unidentified residue left on walls and flooring 4. Dirty shower tracks and buildup around the glass enclosure 5. Poorly maintained caulking and visible deterioration around bathroom fixtures Marks, scuffs, and residue throughout surfaces that clearly have not been properly cleaned 6. Accumulated dirt in areas that appear to have been neglected for an extended period of time What makes this particularly concerning is that many of these issues are in highly visible areas that should absolutely be addressed during even a basic room inspection or standard housekeeping service. The level of neglect shown in these photos raises serious concerns about the hotel’s cleaning standards, quality control, and overall attention to guest experience. A guest should never have to discover visible dirt, hair, stains, and buildup throughout a room that is supposed to be cleaned and prepared for arrival. This does not reflect acceptable hospitality standards, and it significantly impacts comfort, cleanliness, and confidence in the property.

Gross

Very clean but there wasn't a small fridge and the valet parking is annoying. The parking spots are a few feet away, I could park my own car. I think the valet is unnecessary tbh. The view was nice and the staff was very nice but those 2 things made me not want to go back.
