Our mission is to reimagine and redefine performance art as a tool for cultivating community togetherness, promoting coalition building, and envisioning collective liberation. The Very Good Dance Theatre ensemble invites you to a gathering to raise support for the work that puts that mission into action. Funds raised at this event support VGDT's ongoing local partnerships (like our partnership with The Trestle Inn), our offerings for practice (like Dance Theatre Series and practice practice), and our ensemble's upcoming solo projects WAWA and INVITED DRESS. this is groceries for your neighbor, this is family dinner, this is tipping your bartender, this is remembering your barista's birthday, this is art on your walls that your friend made, this is co-creation of a beautiful space, this a place you go to when you just gotta be around people, this is good people, this is what happens when good people gather: when good people gather we all benefit. this is a benefit.
