North Texas Pride Foundation

The North Texas Pride Foundation is the LGBTQ+ nonprofit behind Plano's biggest queer celebration, the North Texas Pride Festival - the "Come As You Are" event held each October at Haggard Park and the ArtCentre of Plano in downtown Plano. The all-volunteer organization has run the festival for more than 15 years, growing it into one of the largest Pride gatherings in the northern Dallas suburbs. Beyond the annual festival, the Foundation works year-round on community outreach, scholarships, and building LGBTQ+ resources for Plano, Collin County, and the wider North Texas region. The festival itself is free and family-friendly, featuring live music, drag performances, dozens of vendor and nonprofit booths, and food trucks.
