A workshop held at the historic Solarium at Rough Point in Newport, RI, focusing on teaching participants how to repair knitwear through darning. The session includes an overview of darning techniques, tools, and weaving structure, followed by hands-on practice. Participants will learn to extend the life of their garments, reduce textile waste, and develop skills for repairing clothing at home. Bring garments with small holes if desired; no prior sewing experience required.
