SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Downtown

It’s a solid three. Parking parking parking !!!! Breakfast was too short. Location was great

Very nice, simple, newer hotel in a convenient location just off downtown. I liked having draft beers at both the downstairs bar and the rooftop bar, which also has a great pool and bistro area with reasonably priced drinks. The gym on the rooftop was awesome, with great equipment and nice windows overlooking downtown. The staff were outstanding—from the front desk to the downstairs bar, rooftop, and breakfast—everyone was very nice, pleasant, and provided great service. The beds were very comfortable (especially the pillows), the room felt fresh and cozy, and being able to go straight from the garage elevator to my floor was super convenient despite parking being a bit costly, which is still better than most places that force you to valet. Overall, this isn’t a large, traditional Marriott, but my stay was great and I’d certainly stay here again.

Lindsey made my first stay at this Spring Hill location amazing experience. The rooms are clean and spacious. Lindsey also informed me all the great amenities this hotel has to offer including a rooftop bar and pool. I look forward to coming back to this location this month again. Lindsey is definitely a Rockstar and she definitely knows about hospitality treating me with the upmost respect. Thank You Spring Hills for hiring such an amazing employee. Keep up the hard work and dedication!

Great spot, nice rooms, clean hotel, nice gymn, friendly staff, solid breakfast. If only they would heat the outdoor pool.....its always beyond freezing.

Beautiful inside and out, staff is super friendly and goes far and above to make sure you are enjoying your stay. View from roof top bar is so nice.

The hotel is very modern and clean. Parking was easy and accessible. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful.

My husband and I have been long time Marriott members and the only reason we stay at Marriott is because of the bed. I have had a spinal fusion and Marriott beds are the only ones that doesn’t hurt my back until this stay. The bed in the new Marriott Springhill Suites Downtown Tampa is definitely not a standard Marriott mattress because it was absolutely terrible. We will not be staying here again and if this is the mattress that Marriott is going to, I will have to find another hotel. Coffee was never available except during breakfast hours which should be available more often. Very disappointing in this stay.

Had a great one night stay. Clean, comfortable, nice. Carla at the front desk was THE BEST. I had two rooms, Carla got both rooms checked-in early. She was personable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. I gave 4 stars on service having nothing to do with her - just a couple of other times the hotel fell short. Glad the Springhill is there for a downtown stay. Thank you Carla!
