The food in the restaurant was good. My morning server (Laila) was quite friendly and very attentive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas for our 17th anniversary, and we had such a wonderful experience here! First, the location is fantastic. The hotel is right on Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, directly across from the park, and the walkability is one of the best things about staying here. There are tons of restaurants and things to do nearby, and the beach is not far at all. We had a room with two queen beds and a balcony, and it was amazing. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. You could tell that the staff genuinely took care in making sure everything was kept up and that we were taken care of. The staff was one of the biggest highlights. William, Florian, and Ariana at the front desk were wonderful and took the time to talk with us and make us feel welcome. Jeff and Fabian with valet were also amazing, along with another valet attendant whose name unfortunately I didn't catch. The restaurant downstairs was excellent! Shawn and Danny took great care of us at the bar, and Maddie was wonderful as our server. They also serve Starbucks, which was really convenient because my son really enjoys their matcha lattes. Definitely check out their food happy hour if you're staying during the week - we went Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and it was outstanding. We tried their burgers and fries, wings, empanadas, waygu sliders, and tacos and they were all FANTASTIC! The breakfast was just as delicious. We ordered a simple one with eggs, potatoes, and toast - but it was perfect. Another really fun feature is the hotel has a hidden feature - nine01. If you know, you know... Brianna took care of us there and was absolutely amazing. It was such a cool experience and was well worth visiting for our anniversary! The hotel also went above and beyond when they found out we were celebrating our 19th anniversary. They surprised us with a bottle of wine, macarons, cookies, two glasses, and a handwritten anniversary card waiting for us. That personal touch meant a lot to us and made the trip feel even more special. Transportation was another huge plus. The hotel offers a Tesla service that will take you within about two miles when available, and we also used the free Circuit service to get around the area. Between those options and the hotel's location, getting around downtown was extremely easy. The pool area was clean and really nice, with a pool bar serving cocktails, beer, other drinks, and snacks. Now for the biggest downside: PARKING. Be prepared for this. Valet was $45 per day during our stay, there was no hotel self-parking option, and we couldn't find convenient parking nearby. There were also additional hotel/property fees added to the stay, which I believe were around $30 per day. Those extra daily costs add up quickly, so I definitely recommend factoring them into your budget instead of looking only at the room rate. There was also some construction happening outside the hotel, so we occasionally heard noise. I really can't hold that against the hotel, though, because the construction wasn't something they controlled. Overall, we had an excellent stay. Between the location, beautiful and clean room, pool, restaurant, hidden gem, transportation options, and especially the staff, there was a lot to love about this hotel. The parking and additional fees were definitely the biggest negatives, but the actual experience and service were wonderful. Thank you especially to William, Florian, Ariana, Shawn, Danny, Maddie, Jeff, Fabian, and Brianna for helping make our 19th anniversary trip so memorable! ❤️
