KAHATSA' boutique hotel

There's nothing to see, no signage for the hotel, and it's very hidden. There's no parking; you have to leave your car on the street. The television doesn't even work with regular channels, and there's no refrigerator. I was told it had a mini-fridge, but that must have been because of the agency I booked with. However, I must commend the very attentive young lady who works as a waitress in the mornings; she also helped me with questions about places to visit.

An excellent stay at Kahatsa’ in tulum. From the moment we arrived staff were super super friendly and welcoming. We visited for a birthday and they left a lovely note and wine. Breakfast was excellent and customisable and staff there were super chatty too. The rooms were clean (bar a couple of towel/bedding stains), the only couple of improvements would be a fridge and bedside light. Location was great for us. We were cautious of safety in tulum, being right next to 3 big supermarkets was great. We used the Indrive app (like Uber) to get to and fro the beach (Qamar was a great spot) and it cost MXN 150-200 each way. The pool looked nice but could do with an update with some nicer chairs. Overall we’d definitely stay again for the price and miss Nala (the hotel dog) already!

Great location. Perfect welcome. Huge rooms but no bedside lamps. Only one light switch at the entrance and one by the bed to turn off the four bulbs that are on simultaneously and illuminate the entire suite. The bathroom has a noisy but ineffective ventilation system; it fogs up very quickly. It's not possible to open the windows to air it out. Breakfast wasn't very substantial. Nice pool. Beautiful decor overall.

A really great surprise. The general quality of this establishment is great. The rooms are very cozy and The general spirit is relaxing. The breakfast is very good. The only disappointment would be the pool, small and the view is not very great. But overall I recommend this hotel very much, especially at this price.

Really nice and calm hotel with sound and light therapy in the room, good for relax and nice swimming pool in the roof top, not much variety of breakfast options but good food.

The best place to stay in Tulum: comfortable, across from a shopping center with all amenities, the rooms are super comfortable, and the aromatherapy bonus is amazing.

The room we had was basic but clean and the beds comfortable. The only window in the room unfortunately cannot be opened but the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom needed some maintenance work but overall the room was good. Breakfast with eggs, fruit, toast, coffee/tea which was nice as it got us going for the day. We enjoyed the pool area and looking at the birds flying in and out of the trees. Note, it does look down at the Supermarket across the road Location is great. 1 supermarket across the road. 2 other supermarkets within 7 minutes walk. Easy walk into Tulum proper, easy cycle to the beaches and ruins. Multiple restaurants with different food offerings and price ranges within walking distance. For us, it was the staff that made our stay memorable. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They helped with booking our tour to Chichen Itza, offering personalized recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Thanks to Janeth, Santos, Vilda for their hospitality and attention. Special mention to Gisela who was accommodating, flexible and always made time for us. The location and staff are 5 stars. Would stay there again.

We really liked the hotel; it was great value for money, the location was strategic, and it was a quiet place. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the breakfast was perfect—zero waste. The decor was very nice. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff, well positioned for what we wanted to do. Rooms smell abit funky but thats nothing new for mexico. It's abit of a hike from the Ado and Uber dosnt operate in Tulum so plan ahead. Id suggest indrive app for taxi and get an atv from the guy next door. Great service.

I stayed during peak event season in Tulum. I really only used it to sleep and shower. It was super quiet and centrally located. The concept is quite nice, and the breakfast was very good. Chedraui is right across the street, and there are many restaurants nearby within walking distance. If you're going to events, it's only 20 minutes from the venue. It's also close to cenotes and beaches. The only thing I feel it's missing is a mini-fridge to have a refreshing drink. Other than that, everything was great. What I appreciated most was the charisma and attention of Giselda and Santos; they were super kind and pleasant at all times. Sending them a huge hug! Highly recommended. I would stay again without hesitation. 🙏
