About this place Península Hostel & Coffee

Península Hostel & Coffee is listed as a small hostel with a café on Juan Antonio Ríos in Iquique, the coastal city in Chile's Tarapacá region. It is a mainstream, gay-friendly place, not a gay venue. It has only a few Google reviews, so room types, kitchen access and café hours aren't confirmed. Check the website or message ahead. Iquique is known for surfing, paragliding off the dunes behind the city, and its duty-free zone. Most visitors stay near Cavancha beach or the centre.

Excellent place, very comfortable facilities, close to the beach and very centrally located, and above all, the service makes the experience much better.

Excellent place, super location near the beach and the boardwalk. The service was 10/10, very kind, especially Mrs. Jaqueline 🫶🏼. Plus, they have a lovely place and a delicious breakfast! I'll definitely be back.

"An amazing experience! Five of us stayed for four nights and felt right at home. The hostel is very quiet, with lovely rooms and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent, and having our own parking was a huge relief. What we appreciated most was the service: the manager was always attentive to our needs, even lending us a parasol and a surfboard for my son. Little touches like offering us tea in the evening when we arrived with our pizza made all the difference. The shared bathrooms were always spotless. The location is perfect: you can walk to Cavancha Beach, and there are plenty of safe restaurants nearby. 100% recommended! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Iquique."
