Playa Los Marineros ⚠ Unverified Own this place?

Playa Los Marineros is a stretch of sand along Avenida Jorge Montt, the coast road between central Viña del Mar and Reñaca. Chilean press and gay blogs from the 2000s and early 2010s named it as the beach gay men favoured on the Viña coast, and a 2023 comment on a Chilean beach list still repeats that. We couldn't find a 2024 to 2026 source, so treat it as a long-standing reputation rather than a guaranteed scene. It's an ordinary public beach with no gay bar or facilities. The Pacific here is cold, with strong currents, so swim only where lifeguards are posted, normally in the December to March season. Local buses run along Jorge Montt from the centre.
