Great hostel with a really nice atmosphere and an amazing party vibe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Jhony was a lot of fun and helped make the experience even better. The room was a bit small, but overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!
Nice hostel with a lively bar next to the pool
This hostel is small and intimate with a relaxed social gathering most nights making it easy to meet people. It has a pool table, some sofas and a swimming pool which is a nice addition! It is also close enough to walk to the main parts of miraflores and beyond. The one thing that was not my favourite was the triple bunk bed and how small the rooms are as there was no space for bags. :)
I felt very unsafe in the accommodation; anyone could get in. Rooms couldn't be locked. A drunk man came into my women's dormitory at night. There were other women in the room, otherwise, things would certainly have been different! It frightened me a lot. I reported it, but the staff didn't care. There was no kitchen. No hot water. The bed linen smelled bad and was stained. The staff was very unfriendly and didn't care.
The room did not match the photos shown online. Also the reviews on hostelworld did not correspond with our experience, seems like the owner changed. There were no curtains, only party lights. After mentioning this to the desk they promised a guy would came to fix this, no one came and after complaining someone came to put sheets in front of the windows with tape. The bathroom had black mold, and the room contained old, moldy fruit and open beer bottles left behind by previous guests. Upon returning, a staff member was moving our belongings to set up a third bed. After a difficult conversation via a translator (no one spoke English), he finally left with the sofa bed. Additionally, the Wi-Fi constantly disconnected. Breakfast consisted of bread, jam, and drinks—eggs required an extra fee. However the bed was fine and shower was hot. After complaining the hostel cancelled our booking after check-out so they can charge our night an extra time through hostelworld. Would not recommend staying here.
It's a unique experience, a great option for having a good time.
