Benidorm Pride 2026

Benidorm Pride has grown from a modest first march in 2011 into one of the biggest LGBTQ+ festivals on the Spanish coast, drawing around 25,000 visitors to the Costa Blanca every September. What makes it different from the big-city Prides is the setting: a compact resort town where the entire Old Town gay quarter - the triangle of Calle Santa Faz, Calle Alicante and Calle San Vicente - turns into one continuous street party for the best part of a week.

The 2026 edition, the sixteenth, runs from Tuesday 1 to Sunday 6 September. The centrepiece parade sets off on Saturday 5 September from Rincon de Loix, the hotel district at the eastern end of Levante beach, and follows the seafront before finishing at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l'Aiguera, where the main stage hosts drag acts, tribute shows and DJs late into the night.

Around the parade you will find pool parties at the gay-run hotels, cabaret and drag brunches in the Old Town bars, and club nights that spill out onto the terraces of Plaza de la Constitucion. The parade and most outdoor events are free; only some after-parties and club nights are ticketed. Early September is still high season on the Costa Blanca, so book accommodation well ahead - the Old Town and Levante fill up fast during Pride week.
