Benidorm Pride
About This Event
Benidorm Pride is a September pride on the Costa Blanca that started as a modest march in 2011 and now fills a week. It is organized by a local LGBTQ+ collective led by Santos Torres, with the town council co-presenting, and its crowd is heavily international, mostly British, which matches Benidorm's year-round gay scene in the Old Town.
The week runs Tuesday to Sunday in early September with shows, concerts and parties. The main event is the Saturday afternoon parade: floats leave from the Rincón de Loix end, follow the Levante beach promenade, and finish at the Julio Iglesias auditorium area. The bars around Calle Santo Domingo and the Old Town carry on long after.
Book early; hotels on the Levante side fill up that week. September heat is still serious, so the late-afternoon parade start is sensible.
The 16th edition ran September 1 to 6, 2026, with 18 floats in the parade on Saturday, September 5. The council projected more than 20,000 visitors; we found no post-event count. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
