Vintage Space at the Flamingo (LUSH)

Tried to come see my neighbors band Headrush play but the Door doesn’t take Cash… Guy at the Door was totally rude. Won’t ever come to this Venue again. 👎🏻

We had high hopes but the venue failed in every regard The layout and the decorations are just beautiful, but the functional acoustic atmosphere is horrible, it's almost the worst I've ever been in. There's almost zero damping and no acoustic management whatsoever. It has the appearance of an attractive venue without the functional reality. It was incredibly painful with the voices of all the talking along with the music ringing in our ears. The conversations of people were amplified by the design of the facility to the point where they were competing with the fully amplified '90s band that I heard called joose. In addition, they appear to have no comprehension about how to actually create an appropriate acoustic management system. There are no damping systems, no soft surfaces, it's like they didn't even ask anybody who knows anything about anything about how to do acoustic design. It's entirely appearance based. We will never return here again for anything other than a cocktail or maybe a karaoke event. It was a waste of $20. Per person. We effectively paid $40 for a couple to be acoustically tortured for 2 hours. We kept hoping it would get better but it didn't I thought maybe once more people came in they might help but it didn't help they just got louder. I can't believe that nobody else has complained about this before. The other issue was of course no clarity on pricing for drinks, no line management or clarity on where to get your order made, parking is insane and there's no guidance provided by the venue. Just avoid this place. I had such high hopes. I'm a big fan of the Sci-Fi look. But between lack of acoustic management, lack of line management for drinks, and lack of decent parking, there's a lot of better places to go like the California, barrel proof, or flagship, or even the cooperage. All with ample parking all with clearly priced stuff and much better acoustics every one of them

Plenty of dance space. Loved the band that played. Will definitely go again and stay at the hotel there.

Really, really disappointed with the drag brunch. In my previous experience elsewhere; the performers would put on a great show, with high energy, jokes, dancing and most importantly crowd engagement. However, these performers just lip synced and walked around collecting tips with hardly any interaction with the crowd. The '3 course meal' was awful. First course was a small cinnamon bun and mini chocolate crossiant, second course was a tiny portion of french toast casserole and egg frita, and then dessert. It was all sugar- no protein, or fruit. Definitely felt like a rip off.

A solid venue, clean and well kept. The layout is good with a good space for actual dancing and still a fair amount of seating for those who want to sit a song or two out.

The venue allows 180 people but sold over 250 tickets for the event I tried to attend. If you show up after opening I think it's fair to say the fire marshal will be interested in the over capacity situation and you will be in line beyond the intermission. I'm posting this to say that the venue is greedy and you should plan accordingly. Or not give them business at all. Shame on the venue for allowing sales beyond capacity. Much respect to the contractors the hotel hires to deal with the angry customers in line since they have no control over the situation the hotel made and are simply trying to make sure humans are safe.
