Rozenhaus Montreal Hotel

Well located. Very well equipped and very clean. Good value for money. Easy self-check-in with no waiting. But remember to bring slippers as the floor is cold. The entrance is in an unappealing alleyway, but it's being renovated. Worth a look.

Ideally located and offering excellent value for money, the apartment is beautiful, functional, and above all, very clean. We had a perfect week of work. The hotel offers a 15% discount at the restaurant on the ground floor (Macau), and the cuisine is excellent—a fusion of several countries. In short, well done and thank you!

We booked through VRBO. The booking said they would let us know how to enter the accommodation 48 hours before our arrival. I was constantly on the phone with VRBO, Expedia, Rosenhaus, and nobody could give me a code. It was very stressful. We did not get our code until About an hour after check in time. I’m not sure if the problem lies with the particular unit we were staying in or if it’s the whole place. The location is central, which was convenient. It was very loud at night. The water pressure in the shower is amazing overall, we didn’t use the kitchen like we thought we would so next time I think I would opt for a hotel that actually had a Reception desk and employees that you could speak with. That will be my last VRBO experience.

I stayed in two rooms here. The first was nice enough, pretty comfortable, nice enough that I decided to extend my stay. I had to get a new room, but this second room was downright luxurious. I had an issue with the TV that I wish has been addressed more quickly, but even that didn't detract from the wonderful space and location The reviews saying this isn't a nice neighborhood must be from people unfamiliar with Montreal - there was nothing unusual or rough about the area that isn't true everywhere else in the city.

Really nice place we liked it enough to extend our stay and the second room we have been put in is really really beautiful! We are having an issue with a tv but maintenance has been out and are helping us with it. Nice coffee is included in the room 8 nespresso pods. Well stocked kitchen. Our second room has a washing machine and dryer. More soundproofed than most hotels I have stayed at. Check-in is Sonder style. So codes and a key fob. Area is very cool and not really any sketchier than any other area of Montreal. I would stay here again and find it to be a good deal as well. Pleasantly surprised.

I booked this place through Aeroplan, which is shocking to me that they would even list such a place. It’s listed as a “boutique hotel”, and in my world, boutique hotels are still hotels—they still have employees to help you. Since this place is in Old Montreal and cost about what a nice 3/4 star place I stayed in NYC last year cost, I went for it. After booking, the small print arrives “self check in process…” etc… an email within 48 hours of your booking with instructions is promised. It never arrives. I am on the train literally 3 hours from Montreal, I call them “oh, I’ll look into it and text you the details”… two more hours pass, no email, no details. I am now technically past the window for cancellation. I call back and am rudely told to text the info, and then I’m hung up on. Not a great look! At that point too many red flags had been raised. I called Aeroplan, got refunded and rebooked. If you are reading this and thinking “one star reviews are just people having a bad day” just know it’s on you if you go through booking this place and it’s terrible. People need to learn how to run a business. Not on my dime or my points, good riddance.

Well located for visiting Montreal, very nice apartment with kitchen.

I stayed here with my family last weekend and it was a really great place to stay! It’s in Chinatown! There’s a parking lot right behind the hotel! We never had to move our car because all we did was walk! We did the hop on hop off tour bus at Parc de la plasse and again, it was walking distance from there! I would definitely stay here again!

Located in Chinatown area, which has its perks. But not as bad as all the other reviews suggest. Reviews on booking.com are accurate. Rooms were fine, sofabed was an older model that we had some difficulty with but worked fine in the end.
