A Bellingham staple! This is a great and inclusive venue that hosts both local bands and bands that are passing through town. The space is generally nice and open, with an upstairs area that is good for when you want to get out of the crowd for a second. The drink selection is great as well, and the staff always seems nice and chill.

The Racket/ The Shakedown are a huge staple to Bellingham imo. A gathering place for Music lovers, Rockers, and Metalheads. The food is top notch, I recommend the Classic philly with the house sauce. Loving the Hail Maria drink special. Always have a great selection of bands coming through. Love the people that keep this place running and love the Hard rock atmosphere this place is known for.

Bartender kicked our companion out for starting a mosh on metal night WITH consent and escalated very, very quickly as we were removing our whole group from the premesis within the following 4 minutes. Night was Sunday, 11/23/2025 at 2215 Upon further investigation, woman standing bouncer was responsible for the report of one customer who complained and left upon an accidental physical connection OUTSIDE of the bar on a vape break. Staff were unwilling to have any discussion of the cause of removal when I personally and politely asked after said companion had left the property. We are still unsure if any drinks were actually spilled as none of us there saw any incident, and left completely unsatisfied with the response received during the entire course of action.

The bartender kicked me out for no reason. Don't come here if you're trying to have a good time. Sorry, not sorry

Great little venue, nice and cozy, drinks are well made and well priced. Unfortunately the employees smoke just outside the door and stink up the place.

Loved this venue but it gets too stuffy in the summer with all the headbangers. Wish they'd install AC. Excellent bands and events. Good drinks!
