Really fun venue with great employees
Fun venue
I didn't try any food. I went for the Heated Rivalry dance party, and I had a blast. The cider and beer I had were great, and the bartender worked hard to hear me. Having easy access to water was also nice. I just wish the music hadn't been so loud. It was so loud that a lot of the sound was distorted. I couldn't even recognize some songs, unless I heard people singing along. I neglected to bring somewhat stronger ear plugs, and I definitely paid for that the rest of the night. So yeah, I wish they would focus more on the quality of the sound and not just the volume. (It was also basically impossible to hear the bartender, and he struggled to hear me.) Parking, particularly for ADA parking, was hard to find even though I was "early" (judging by how many people came later for the event). So I had to walk more than I wanted, but on the bright side, when walking back to my car, I was able to buy a hotdog. A win is a win, I guess. Anyway, I'm down to return here for something that meets my interests. I'll just definitely wear some of my more "hardcore" ear plugs.
Cool little venue for music. However, the staff here is by far the rudest I've ever encountered. In any other field you'd get canned for treating customers the way they do. I'll keep coming here ONLY to support my musician friends when they're booked here. If you hate life and people so much, don't work in the service industry.
