If I could give 10 stars I would because our stay at Sundara West B&B exceeded even my expectations. Jackie is the most wonderful host and is one of the very few that truly cares about their guests experience. It felt like staying with family. Beautiful Victorian Home on a gorgeous property, with views of the Cascade Mountains to the east. The hospitality and care of our Hosts was delightful! Truly, we are enjoying a wonderful stay in this charming location.

If you have kids, this is the perfect place to stay. Kids can enjoy a private swimming pool and spend a lot of time in the playground and check out animals in the farm nearby. We stayed at Sundara West for a family trip to Mt. Baker. It was convenient from the cottage to the park. We also visited Bellingham on the way to Sundara. It was only 30 min driving. There are many parks on the way. Kids had so much fun. We all loved this cottage a lot!

Had a wonderful stay! Jackie's breakfasts were fabulous. Would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful Vicorian getaway in the country.

This is a beautiful Victorian themed B&B with spectacular views of Mt.Baker from the first floor rooms and a very warm and generous host. The breakfast was delicious and prepared perfectly as per our dietary preferences. Perfect place for a relaxed holiday and enjoying the quiet countryside vibe.

We loved our stay at the Sundara West B&B in the glamping room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed, including delicious breakfast supplies. There is a short walk from the room to the bathroom through the pool area, but that was well lit at night. Would happily return if we're ever in the area again!

Wow-what a wonderful stay this was. We had such an amazing time here and Jackie is so helpful and responsive. We loved the big bed, the hot tub, the cozy yet spacious feel of the tent. We had so much fun cooking on the grill and eating on the adorable patio. This is a great location, not too far from Bellingham but also close to plenty of hikes. The property is just beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the glamping tent rental of the property-I want to lie and say it was horrible so I can keep this place to myself but everyone deserves a chance to stay at this magically wonderful place! Every time we said, “it can’t get any better!”, it did!!! Jacky was an exceptional hostess and really made the stay extra special. We are finding a way to come here as often as possible as a staycation treat to ourselves! *As a side note-it was also so lovely to have such a special experience be affordable, especially in these especially tough times. We are so grateful!

The comfortable bed, lovely room, and the breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. Jackie is a fantastic cook. The house is beautiful, as. Is the view. So quite and peaceful. I came away so relaxed and recharged. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Jackie for everything

Staying at this beautiful B&B for our anniversary was delightful in every way. It has an old world Victorian charm that embraces you as soon your walk through the front door and you feel as if you are coming home. Jackie is a thoughtful and caring host. She pours her warmhearted kindness into every detail of your stay making sure that her guests have a wonderful and memorable experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with generous portions. The French toast was so flavorful and tasty as were the big plump sausages. The eggs come from the local farm and Jackie makes them just how you like them. We stayed in the Lavender room and the bed was so comfy. There is a picturesque view of the countryside with snow covered mountains in the background. You can make a cup of tea or coffee in the library, then sit and relax and read one of the many books available for guests. If you are looking for a quiet, restful place to stay away from everything; a place to unwind, relax and let all the stress simply melt away then come to this tranquil, peaceful home. As for me and my husband we cannot wait to return. It has refreshed our souls.

Such a relaxing trip! Jackie went out of her way to make the place comfy and family friendly. Every amenity was great--snacks, fire, smores kits, bottle of wine. We stayed at the brand new glamp and the pictures definitely do not give it justice. Its cozy and warm with enough space for my family of 4 to feel quite comfortable. Jackie provided great cushiony mats for my kids to sleep on and the glamp had a bunch of soft blankets. The private pool reservations made swimming a great experience! My kids, 4 and 6 yo, begged to go back!

Five-stars does not do justice to the experience my family and I had staying with Jackie & Marshall. There should be a 6th star for exceeding what one would think possible; it belongs in a category all its own entitled, ‘Magical’. I stumbled upon Sundara West by simply googling dog-friendly B&Bs in the area; to our incredible fortune, this was the only one that popped up, and it is just 5 minutes from the family we were coming to visit. We planned a small surprise reunion to celebrate my grandmother who lives in the area & was turning 90. We booked all 3 rooms in the main house for my husband and I, our 3 children (2, 5 & 8), my father and our sometimes sweet, sometimes sassy fur baby (mini-Aussie). I was truly just looking for a place to lay our heads where my dog would be welcome but did not expect to find a slice of heaven that I was reluctant to leave and two new friends in Jackie and Marshall, who quite honestly felt like family by the time we left. The rooms are each unique, stunningly beautiful & COMFY. There’s a sitting area Jackie stocked with snacks and drinks right next to the bedrooms. The personal care products are all natural and smell AMAZING. The entire property is pristine and breathtakingly beautiful; we visited in June and the blooms around the front porch are the stuff dreams are made of, a symphony of sorts to all the senses. There is an indoor pool that is HEATED with the ability to open the ceiling's glass panels or side doors to either let air in or shut it out on chilly nights. The pool area felt like a resort in and of itself, with a lounge area, hot tub, toys galore and a twisty slide! There is a beautifully maintained and safe outdoor playground that kept our kids entertained for hours with a view of the mountains in the background (you can also view the mountains from the rooms and front porch!). The property sits far from the road so it's quiet and safe. Speaking of quiet, I could sit on the front porch every day for the rest of my life and never tire of it. Last but certainly not least was the food....oh my gosh the food, it's been 6 months and my family, ALL of my family, my husband, my kids and my Dad continue to rave about Jackie's cooking. Jackie is the most incredible host one could ask for. The experience we had at Sundara was hands down the most attentive and high-quality service that I have ever had. Our family has extensive food allergies (dairy, gluten, onions, to name a few...). I had planned to bring our own food and pick over what we could from breakfast because cooking for us is like an Olympic sport, it takes PRACTICE and patience, and I wouldn't want to put that on anyone! Jackie went ABOVE and BEYOND, each and every single day making something unique, allergen free, DELICIOUS and making separate dishes for my Dad and husband who can and will eat anything! We stayed 6 nights; God bless her heart for all the effort she put in each day. By day 2, all of us could barely wait for the sun to come up to see what was for breakfast! I still need to pinch myself to believe we found a place that felt luxurious at every turn without an ounce of pretentiousness…never a side-eye was given to my rambunctious children, or my dog and quite on the contrary Jackie and Marshall were infallibly warm and inviting, and my middle son in particular (5 y.o.) still talks about Ms. Jackie; he sought her company often during our stay and she was so sweet to indulge the little guy with her attention. The kids were never bored, our tummies were never empty, oh & the sleep!! We flew in from out East but slept so well that jetlag never had the chance to get the best of us! All these words and I still feel like this review does not do justice to the stay that we had nor the connection we felt with Jackie and Marshall and the incredible accommodations they have so skillfully and lovingly created. If you’re ever anywhere in the vicinity, believe me, it’s worth the trip and I wager you’ll be back.
