Foot of the Mountain Motel

This place is absolutely amazing and great customer service and amazing community

I love this place. Great location and the sauna (Ember & Ice) made this stay feel like luxury! Most motels feel lonely and boring but having a community experience at sauna and cold plunge next door made this totally different in the best way.

Very cute and moody motel

Before I start, let it be known that we understood we were not checking into the ritz Carlton and really were open to the experience of staying in a historic room in a very upscale neighborhood. That is what you’re paying for. For 2 adults &1 dog it came to a little under $300 for the night. Unfortunately when you check in and see trash from another guest still in the trash, hair/fur on the towels and dust/dirt on the mirrors and surface areas, it makes you a little uneasy that the room is even clean at all. It looks to have been remodeled in the 80’s and then they just stopped maintaining it. Also, the floor in the bathroom was sinking by the toilet smh. Don’t stay in the King Cozy room. We really wanted this to be a cute rustic experience and what we were given was dirty. We do not recommend this motel. I would post the pictures but I don’t see that option here.

Great community had so much fun!

Absolute favorite place to stay in Colorado. Amazing location nestled right on the mouth of the canyon. Hiking/biking trails, beautiful views, crisp clean air, Pearl Street mall located 5 minutes away, plenty of places to eat close by. Perfect little get away spot. Rooms are a little out-dated but nice if you prefer rustic/simple. Staff is always so kind/friendly. Shower/bathroom is very small.

LOVED my stay at the Foot of the Mountain Motel. It has a cozy, unique vibe and a really welcoming feel. The location is awesome and great for exploring all of Boulder. The staff were phenomenal. They were genuinely kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Boulder.

I had a reservation, they canceled it, blamed it on a computer glitch, and hid behind their cancellation policy. Screwed me over one month before CU graduation. Their computer worked well enough to send me a confirmation number with the booking. I wonder whose friend came to town? Go ahead and book here, roll the dice, just have a solid backup plan. They know Boulder has limited inventory so they can act like this. Totally unacceptable.

This is an excellent place to stay while visiting Boulder! Clean, quaint and surrounded by nature. Highly recommend!

This place is so picturesque. So gorgeous and clean and the staff give great service and recommendations. My partner and I loved it so much that we’re about to stay again and absolutely adore how cute everything about this motel is. It’s a perfect spot for Pearl street and mountain photography.
