What reviewers say

Visitors consistently praise the Hotel Boulderado for its beautiful historic charm, excellent downtown location steps from Pearl Street, and friendly, accommodating staff. Some guests have noted a disappointing change in the Holiday Tea Service, with one reviewer feeling the amount of food served was significantly reduced compared to previous years.

About this place Hotel Boulderado

Hotel Boulderado is Boulder's best-known historic hotel, opened in 1909 and still trading on its Victorian-era lobby with a stained-glass ceiling. It is a gay-friendly mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. Rooms are split between the original building and a newer wing, so ask which one you are getting if period character matters to you. It is a block from the Pearl Street Mall, which puts downtown restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, and the Flatirons trailheads are a short drive away. The hotel's ratings are solid, with more than 2,000 Google reviews averaging 4.5. Boulder has no real gay bar scene of its own; Denver is about 45 minutes away by car.

Be aware, that once you check in, you may have the price change and pay higher for what you booked. And, if you do have issues, the front desk will not help, they will give you an email address to email your questions and concerns.

We have been going to this hotel every year and this year we had my wife with a one year diet strict need and we wrote in advance and had a full support from Alex, the food and beverage director and Michael the main Chef! With Robert the other Chef, we have been so happy it was beyond our expectation and made our state of nine days one of the best in the last 40 years thank you to the whole team

Dog friendly hotel, valet staff has water and treats for your furry friends; vintage hotel with modern facilities. Restaurant was great too, no dogs allowed so I ended up having breakfast in the hotel entrance bar on a stool, with hubby on the restaurant side. Perfect setup. Walking distance to Pearl street for shopping. Forgot my AirPods and they arranged to ship them to me, exceptional service!
