About this place Rocky Mountain Equality

Rocky Mountain Equality — formerly Out Boulder County — is the region's largest LGBTQ+ nonprofit and community organization, founded in 1994 and based at 3340 Mitchell Lane in north Boulder. It rebranded from Out Boulder County in 2024 as it broadened its services beyond Boulder County into the wider northern Colorado region. The center runs year-round programming: youth groups, trans and QTPOC support, behavioral health and wellness services, peer support groups, and the long-running Speaking Out program that sends volunteers into local classrooms. It also provides direct financial-aid grants and hosts regular community social events. Rocky Mountain Equality organizes Boulder PrideFest, the city's main LGBTQ+ celebration each June, along with Youth Pride and 50+ Pride gatherings. For LGBTQ+ visitors and new residents alike, it's the central hub for connecting with Boulder's queer community and finding local resources.

The team who opened their doors for me to host an event here were nothing short generous and without asking for anything in return. The space/offices/common places were top notch clean and the team professional.
