About this place The Retro Lounge
The Retro Lounge is a small queer bar inside the Satellite Hotel on Lakewood Circle, east of downtown. It was opened in 2024 as The Q Lounge by Michael Anderson and Tara Bush, both survivors of the 2022 Club Q shooting, and took its current name in March 2025. Expect drag shows, bingo and karaoke nights, plus a memorial wall for the five people killed at Club Q.
Local TV reported in late 2025 that the hotel does not plan to renew the lease when it runs out, so the bar may move. Google rates it 4.7 from about 135 reviews. We couldn't confirm current opening hours, so check its social pages first.
