The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The hotel banned a group of retired Florida Southern College professors from eating here. The manager didn’t have the backbone to tell them why, he just said they are banned. They believe it’s because they talked about politics. Don’t waste your money going here; you might be banned if you don’t hold their political views!

I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the General Manager and management team for making my stay pleasant and enjoyable the first week of June 2026. The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton provided an elegant and relaxing boutique hotel experience with beautiful historic charm and outstanding customer service. The hotel had a warm and upscale atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities that made the stay feel luxurious and relaxing. I especially appreciated the beautiful views of Lake Mirror and the convenient downtown Lakeland location near restaurants, parks, and local attractions. The staff members were professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire visit. The lobby and dining areas were beautifully maintained and added even more charm and character to the property. Everything throughout the hotel appeared polished, organized, and professionally managed. This is definitely one of the best hotel experiences in Lakeland and highly recommended for couples, business travelers, and weekend getaways.

the hot water wasn't warm. The room was facing the street so hearing cars all night. Food was ok.

Hotel is very cool, nice vibes well maintained and clean. Food is not worth the price. So many other food options locally.

Great location in Lakeland with a nice onsite restaurant and bar. My room had a beautiful lake view and overall was very comfortable. The only downside for me was that my room had an adjoining door, so I could hear some noise from the neighboring room. That said, I know this is fairly common in boutique-style hotels and it wasn’t a major concern during my one-night stay. I did experience a minor issue during my visit, but the hotel addressed it promptly and the GM personally followed up to make sure I was satisfied, which I really appreciated. Overall, a solid stay with great customer service.
