The thin, crispy crust is to die for. I'm from NY, so to me, the grease is part of the flavor, as some reviewers have mentioned this. It's your typical pizzeria with indoor booths and outdoor seating. Ice cream, smoothies, and shakes are available. I can't believe I haven't eaten here before!
This went from a favorite quick eat spot to a place for us to avoid. Ordered a slice of pepperoni and it was soooooo greasy it wasn't pleasant to eat. The paper plate and napkin were soaked. If you want pizza on commercial street, this is no longer the go to place for us (even after the bars close).
Grabbed an iced latte and a hot cappuccino. Fresh ground espresso beans were used, alternative and local dairy options. Cute and quiet sitting area in the back. Great prices. What more do you need? We’ll be back :)
Had been here year’s ago, and found the pizza much improved. Spiritus is a Ptown institution, and stays open until after the clubs close. The atmosphere is good, and late night crowds are lively. Great pepperoni
The size of the slices was impressive as everybody says. However the sauce and cheese was thin and rather bland. The crust was a good thickness, but also bland. I can see why it's popular after the bars close and people need a quick bite for cheap, but nothing to write home about during my visit.
Got the meat lovers pizza which was great! Crust was crispy and well done. The toppings including the cheese and sauce gave a unique flavor that immediately made me salivate! So much goodness! I couldn’t stop eating until after two slices were done. Highly recommend this place.
Worth. Any. Wait. Super fast, friendly, and patient service. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients and the cook-job. I am pining for this weeks after, y'all! Play it smart and call in an order for a pie. While there's no parking or delivery, ride your bike down, or do like I did - have your significant other drop you at Bradford & Court, you walk down to Commercial and Spiritus is right there, your partner circles a block off Bradford St just once, you walk back up Court St pizza in hand to meet your partner, you're back at your abode in mere minutes.
The pizza here is solid. I like the flavor of Twisted a little better, but this was a solid slice as well. I also had the ice cream. Nice selection of flavors. I went with chocolate peanut butter which was good, but would like a bit more peanut butter flavor in it.
You never really know the quality of any "road side" pizza but Spritus Pizza on Commerce Street in Provincetown is a chance well taken. I am a pizza snob. I like well worked, well cooked -NOT burnt and creative pizza. This checks all the boxes. I had a piece of pepperoni pizza and their Greek pizza - great slices. The shop is small, very clean and busy but you can tell by just sitting and watching that every slice is prepared the same and everyone loves what they get. Try it!!
Late night it is the place to go, but the owner has a bad attitude. CASH ONLY (is this 1999?), only tiny fountain drinks -no refills and no larger soda cup--with pizza??- again, is this Bloomberg in from a decade ago?. Not a fan
