Niji (虹)

We loved this place! We were the only international couple but all of them were so nice and tried to include us in the conversation, it felt like a friends house party close gathering. We loved it. And also the green tea cocktail was delicious! Thaaaank you, will definitely be back every time we come to Osaka!

My girlfriend and I LOVED this bar! It was very nice to be in an inclusive and safe queer/lesbian space in Japan. It is so cute and cozy. The bartender is so attentive and wonderful. I wish we could have gone more nights. There is space at the bar or in the seating area. The bartender speaks English and is the best host. She walked us out to the elevator, thanked us, and told us to be safe💙 10/10 recommend

The owner is very kind and funny, making it a bar where you can relax and enjoy yourself even if you go alone! Perhaps because of the owner's personality, the customers are all nice people, and I had a very enjoyable time even though it was my first time 😊 I would highly recommend it to anyone new to lesbian bars!

This is a women-only bar. It is located on the 5th floor. It is the first door on the left after you get off the escalator. Please check social media platforms like Twitter for holidays and opening/closing hours before visiting. You can converse with the owner in Japanese. For other languages, please use a translator to communicate. Upon entering, you pay a seating charge of 1,000 yen (based on a visit in December 2024), which includes the price of the drink, and then select your beverage. There is no separate English menu; only a Japanese menu is provided. You can also order by looking at the bottles on display. The owner strikes up a conversation about various things and engages in enjoyable chatting. I hope many people visit this free-spirited spot after reading this review. 🏳️‍🌈

We met by chance, and the atmosphere was a little different from the other bar I had been to the day before. The clientele, including the owner, were mostly on the younger side, and the atmosphere was friendly and lively. There were Koreans among the customers, and apparently they're there quite often. Overall, it was nice, but they didn't have a wide selection of drinks. Oh, and it was a bit cramped, which was a shame. I'm a smoker myself, and the poor ventilation made it quite difficult. But I had a lot of fun 😄 Thank you for being so kind to me, a foreigner!

The bartender can speak some Thai since she lived in Thailand for 6 years! She can also communicate in basic English and she is very friendly. There’s a seating charge of 1000 yen per person, which includes one 1 free drink and free snacks. For additional drinks, you pay according to the menu. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. However, English speakers might have some difficulty communicating.

Had the best experience here. The owner is kind and funny, she makes the bar very social and welcoming. Others made a real effort to communicate or help translate. Very grateful to explore a sapphic space in Japan. Highly recommend to both locals and visitors!

incredibly welcoming and accommodating space. i speak very little japanese and everyone at the bar, including the (assuming) owner went out of their way to communicate with me. they also allowed me to practice my japanese and taught me some new things, which was awesome. thanks!
